Between 75 and 100 people showed up by 9am on
Saturday, May 6th, while stormy skies cleared over the White Oak Bayou along
Stude Park in the Heights. We were honored by their presence at our first annual
Walk4Hearing. It was a great success. Ray Wathen told us in the opening ceremony
that we made history that day. It will be a day to remember for all of us.
2006 marked the first year of the Walk4Hearing due to the generosity of one anonymous donor. Four states participated in 2006: Texas, California, New York, and Pennsylvania.
